Alnico Bar Magnet Pair
Product Code : LSK-M-11071
Alnico Bar Magnet Pair (SKU LSK-M-11071) is a pair of Alnico (aluminium-nickel-cobalt alloy) bar magnets with the north pole clearly marked, supplied with keepers. Alnico gives strong, long-lasting magnetism, so the pair suits repeated use in school and college physics labs for pole, field and magnetometer work. It is manufactured by Science Lab Supplies at Plot 448, HSIIDC Industrial Area, Saha, Ambala, India, which quotes schools, colleges, contractors and distributors directly.
Specifications
The magnets are offered in twelve sizes: lengths of 50, 75, 100 and 150 mm in three cross-sections, 10 × 6 mm, 12 × 8 mm and 15 × 10 mm. Every pair has the north pole marked and comes with keepers, and Alnico holds its magnetism strongly over time.

Applications and Experiments for the Alnico Bar Magnet Pair
Because Alnico keeps its magnetism well, the pair can serve for experiments that need a steady magnetic moment, such as comparing magnetic moments with a deflection magnetometer, as well as everyday pole and field-line demonstrations. It fits Class 10 and 12 magnetism and B.Sc. magnetism practicals.
- Class 10 science: mapping field lines and checking the marked north pole with a compass.
- Class 12 physics (NCERT), Magnetism and Matter: the bar magnet as a magnetic dipole.
- B.Sc. practicals: comparing magnetic moments with a deflection magnetometer.
Standard Scope of Supply
One pair of Alnico bar magnets in the size you specify, with the north pole marked, is supplied together with keepers. State the length and cross-section when enquiring, for example 100 × 12 × 8 mm, so the quotation matches your practical.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Quotations cover anything from a single pair to a full set for every bench, in one size or a mix of sizes, and each lists packing, delivery time and price for that quantity. Science Lab Supplies, a science apparatus manufacturer in India, can add compasses and other magnetism items to the same quotation.
Holding an Importer-Exporter Code, Science Lab Supplies is able to ship to buyers in Uganda, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Philippines and Nepal. Enquire via the contact page or enquiry cart, or see the lab tender page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which sizes are available?
Twelve sizes are listed: lengths of 50, 75, 100 and 150 mm, each in cross-sections of 10 × 6 mm, 12 × 8 mm or 15 × 10 mm. Specify the size when requesting a quotation.
Why choose Alnico over chrome steel bar magnets?
Alnico magnets hold stronger, longer-lasting magnetism than the chrome steel bar magnets in this range, which are rated at moderate strength. That makes the Alnico pair a good fit for repeated practical use and magnetometer work.
Is Science Lab Supplies the manufacturer or a trader?
Science Lab Supplies is the manufacturer. Its Alnico bar magnets come from the company's own factory at Saha in Ambala district, India, so pricing and delivery are set directly by the maker for every order.
How should the magnets be stored?
Store each pair side by side with unlike poles together and the keepers across the ends. Keep the magnets dry, away from heat and electronic devices, and avoid dropping them, so they keep their strength for longer.
Related Magnets from the Magnetism Range
These four magnets complement the Alnico bar pair with other shapes and materials, so students can compare strength and field patterns side by side. Each one is described on its own page, and any mix of them can be listed on the same quotation.
