Fraction Strips
Product Code : LSK-ML-10113
Fraction Strips (SKU LSK-ML-10113) are colour-coded strips that break into exact fractions of one whole, so pupils can see and feel the parts that make it up. Laid in rows beneath a whole strip, they make equivalent fractions easy to spot and compare. Primary and middle-school teachers use them to introduce, compare and order fractions. Manufactured at the Science Lab Supplies factory on Plot 448, HSIIDC Industrial Area, Saha, Ambala, India, the strips are sold by the maker straight to schools, colleges, tender contractors and distributors.
Specifications
Each fraction is given its own colour for easy identification, and the strips break into precise fractional parts that fit back into the length of the whole. That exact fit is what allows pupils to line up, say, two quarter pieces against one half and confirm that they match.

Applications and Experiments for the Fraction Strips
Pupils place the whole strip at the top and build rows of smaller pieces underneath, creating a fraction wall. Reading down the wall shows which fractions are equal, which are larger and how many of each part make one whole, giving a linear model that complements circle pieces.
- NCERT primary maths, Classes 3–5: fractions as equal parts of a whole.
- NCERT Class 6 Fractions: finding equivalent fractions and comparing unlike fractions.
- Ordering fractions and placing them on a number line.
- Adding fractions with the same denominator by joining pieces.
Standard Scope of Supply
Fraction Strips are supplied as a colour-coded set of strips that break into fractions of one whole, as described above. The fractions included and the number of sets are confirmed on the quotation, and any optional accessories are listed there.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Quotes can cover one set for the front of the class or a set for every group. Each will give packing, delivery time and price for the quantity requested, and fraction circles or other maths lab manipulatives can be combined with it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are Fraction Strips used for?
They are used to show fractions as parts of one whole and, above all, to make equivalent fractions easy to see by lining pieces up against each other.
Why are the strips colour coded?
Colour coding makes each fraction easy to identify, so pupils can quickly pick out the pieces they need and sort them back after the lesson.
Does Science Lab Supplies manufacture the strips?
Yes. The strips come from the company's own factory in Saha, Ambala, India, and the maker issues the quotation itself.
Which fractions are included in a set?
The fractions provided are confirmed with your quotation; ask through the contact page if you need particular denominations for your syllabus.
