Poker Vibrator
Product Code : LSK-WT-10544
Poker Vibrator (SKU LSK-WT-10544) is a lightweight immersion vibrator for the internal compaction of concrete specimens, both in the laboratory and on site. It replaces the traditional tamping bar where many cubes, cylinders or beams must be compacted. Civil engineering labs, polytechnics and TVET construction workshops use it for concrete practicals. Science Lab Supplies supplies it from Ambala, India to colleges, training institutes, tender contractors and distributors.
Specifications
The vibrator is offered in three versions, petrol operated, mains operated and battery operated, so a lab can pick the power source that suits its bench or field location. All versions are lightweight and easy to carry and handle, and each works by internal compaction of freshly placed concrete.

Applications and Experiments for the Poker Vibrator
The poker vibrator is used to compact fresh concrete in cube, cylinder and beam moulds before curing and strength testing. Compared with rodding, it gives more uniform compaction when a class casts many specimens, and it also shows trainees how vibration removes entrapped air from concrete on site.
- B.Tech and diploma civil engineering concrete technology labs: compacting cube and cylinder specimens for compressive-strength tests.
- Material testing labs of polytechnics and engineering colleges: preparing batches of specimens quickly and consistently.
- TVET and ITI masonry and building-construction courses: compacting concrete in formwork during site practice.
- Field testing by site laboratories where mains power is not available, using the petrol or battery version.
Standard Scope of Supply
The Poker Vibrator is supplied as a single unit in the version you choose: petrol, mains or battery operated, as described above. Please state the required version when you enquire; any optional pokers, spare parts or accessories are listed on the quotation.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
We can quote one vibrator or a set for every casting bench, and each quotation states the packing, delivery time and price for the quantity and version requested. Mixers, vibrating tables and other TVET workshop equipment can be added so the whole concrete lab arrives together.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which power versions are available?
Three: petrol operated, mains operated and battery operated. Choose mains for a fixed lab bench, and petrol or battery where the vibrator must work away from a power point.
Why use a poker vibrator instead of a tamping bar?
Rodding every specimen by hand is slow and varies between operators. Internal vibration compacts fresh concrete more consistently, which helps when a class must prepare a large number of specimens.
Who supplies the Poker Vibrator?
Science Lab Supplies supplies it from Ambala, India, and can quote it with mixers, vibrating tables and other concrete tools for colleges, institutes and contractors.
How does it differ from the Builders Vibrator?
This model is a lightweight specimen vibrator in three power versions. The Builders Vibrator is a 5.5 hp petrol unit with a 45 mm poker and 6 m flexible drive for site concreting.
Related Concrete Compaction and Mixing Equipment
Specimen compaction is one step in a concrete practical that also needs mixing, placing and site vibration. These four items from the Workshop Tools range complete that sequence, and a college can request them on the same quotation as the poker vibrator for a single delivery.
- Vibrating Table — table vibration for moulds as an alternative method.
- Builders Vibrator — 5.5 hp petrol vibrator with 45 mm poker for site pours.
- Concrete Mixer — 240 litre diesel drum mixer for preparing batches.
- Block Making Machine — hydraulic press for brick production practice.
