With three achromatic objectives up to 100x oil immersion, this microscope takes students from tissue sections to stained bacteria. Which eyepieces can be chosen?
Any two Huygenian eyepieces from 5x, 6x, 10x and 15x, or a wide field 10x eyepiece. Name your choice when asking for the quotation so the microscope is supplied with the pair your syllabus needs.
Is the 100x objective an oil immersion lens?
Yes. The objectives are achromatic 10x, 40x SL and 100x SL oil immersion. The 100x lens is used with a drop of immersion oil for the highest magnification, for example when looking at stained bacteria.
